my Mom had a whole set of wooden spoons that never got used for cooking. the last one finaly broke/wore out when I was about 16.
X2 on that. I once messed up and had not got busted yet. I took her a spoon and told her to get it over with.
I've heard of paying it forward-but spanking it forward-OUCH!!!
Hellbilly-I am not against you-I am old school also, as my granddaughter(8 yrs) found out. when grandpa says something he means it. It has been great since then.
It was not as bad as if the knew. I mark that one up as a win for me. 😆
I HATED them damn wooden paddles that used to have the rubber band and ball attached. That rubber band always broke in the first 5 mins. I got smart tho and started breaking the handles off as soon as the rubber band broke. I could've swore when I was 10 that I had a tattoo of that friggin red clown on my ars.
