WOW! Sometime it seems like you can never get ahead. I was about to get excited because we finally made the last payment on the wife's truck. not even a month and she call me this morning on her way to work and tells me that her truck wasn't running right. I'm thinking ok I'll run home and see what's going on. Well not being a Greese monkey, (Just a term no offense to anyone) but if it is much more than a starter or an alternator I'm lost on working on a motor. So I call the mechanic that I use and told him that I was gonna bring it in. (LSS) He tells me that it has no compression in a cylinder and it could be a rocker arm or a bent push rod. That is a best case scenario and worst case needs a new motor. So much for soaking up some savings. This truck is a 04 Suburban 140K In WAS in good shape and ran good. We've kept the oil changed and clean so we're not looking to get rid of it. I have no Idea what this is going to cost right before hunting club dues.
