C'est la vie....not really a right or wrong. You had an opinion and voiced it.

On the other hand....the gun you referred to is no longer available 🙂 at THAT price at THAT store.

He has one in hand, you're paying extra to drive a few miles and take possession of it instantly. (if you bought it)

Me...na too overpriced, but hey he HAS one 🙂

Gun market is pretty weird right now.

One thing I have learned about these FB groups that sell guns...a lot of the members either work in or own a gun shop/pawn shop. etc...A lot of them are pimping their products on their shelves. It's not just Joe Blow selling his shotgun

lol right! im surprised people are so dumb to pay so much! i was inactive on this forum for quite a while because i am in college and dont have time or money to hunt, but as soon as i decided i want to get a handgun i began to research. Then came back on here to ask people who know more than me about handguns for advice. I dont understand how people can just go out and buy a used gun with no clue what it was originally worth, or anything about it lmao.

Send you girlfriend or wife to any new car dealer, have her tell them she wants to buy a car today and they will hook her up at about 15% over retail....

As a member of this site I hope that I have some respect from you guys so I have to say it. I AM A CAR SALESMAN and yes I do have to deal with what opinions that come with that. But I will say that I was born in this town that I work in and first and foremost protect my name. The dealer I work for actually is really good about not adjusting pricing upwards with those extra stickers and I dont care what you pay for a car as long as you end up leaving in it. Most of us at the end of the day dont and work for bonuses, at least in the new car market.
I will say that by the time most people work with me a bit they see that I am first a father a husband and a good man and will buy another car from me in the future. Since this topic is about throwing the facts around to protect people I think it fits well. If anybody or there family or friends is in the market for a new Toyota or used car I will be happy to help make sure that you have proper buying information and have the pricing you should pay on your best deal. Consider it my part to help the members here. You dont even have to buy from me if we cant arrange that but I will help steer you in the right direction. Just PM me as I usually check in a couple times a day.

Sorry, I was generalizing and not pointing any fingers. Wasn't trying to offend.

Well imo Cracker you did the right thing and as GB pointed out no good deed, yada yada. yes you probly P'd off a few, but made more friends than enemies. and yes 30-30 these sights are about helping each other instead of being selfish and only looking out for yourself. and DADS, it could be worse, you could be a lawyer like my Dad was. the lawyer jokes he had to endure. but he just smiled to himself and rarely said OK loudmouth I am a college boy, Harvard class of 1950, put myself thru on the GI bill and proud of it. what kind of education do you have?
