That electrical storm last night I think did me in. Good thing is that the unit is new <2yrs old. Bad news is if it is what he thinks it is it will be days before he gets parts

i bet your water float is stuck. trust me if its that dont pay the 200 buck.. buy the part for 15 bucks and i can install it.

if your outside fan is not kicking on its because of that.

Just had a friends unit go down last weekend. He had a company come out and told him 350.00 to replace the coil. I called a friend with an A/C company and he gave me the coil for $25 and did it myself. Don't let them take you for a ride. Good luck.
