Been there, done that with the sleep apnea & a lap-band. THERES NO MAGIC CURE for the wt, c-pap or bi-pap has been a miracle, but you will still have sleep apnea, just be getting better quality sleep. If you can't maintain a healthy balance of intake/activity before the lap band, you will likely do the same after it & be right back where you started in a few years, except even though you are back at your original pre lap band wt of say 300 lbs, more of it will be fat instead of muscle. It sux but when you lose wt you lose fat & muscle (unless you really know what your doing), but when you gain it back, you gain the wt in a ratio of much more fat then muscle.
