not much in this weather dont know about over there but its 8:00 am here and 38 degree's, (daytona) i've never seen a deer and defenetly not a hog movin in bitter cold like this down here, they dont have the body fat of northern deer and stay beded as long as posible to conserve body heat. i have gone out and pushed them up/out walkin or drives in this but other than that nothin. but thats just my experience i'm sure i will hear other wise i've just never seen it.

The main reason I did not go to my lease this weekend. The deer up there will not move when there is a frost on the ground

I always thought that the deer would be up feeding in the cold to generate body heat. The colder the better I always thought. I had read somewhere that when the temps drop that they generated body heat by eating. Guess I might have to rethink some of the times I head out to the woods.
