Which Upper and Lower AR15 to get?

I was attempting to make was that someone could save alot of $$$$ by finding a deal on a used AR in this market and it's really not worth trying to build one yourself in an attempt to save $$$$$.

I do agree with what you wrote. Deals are to be made if you look around.
The most common is the 5.56, tons of those, if your looking for a custom caliber then you would need to hunt harder for them.
When I was looking for a AR, I wanted something larger than the 5.56, so almost everything i looked at was in the $1000 range. That's when i started looking at building one.
