GO, you seem to be a Glock man to me, the 19 or larger caliber?

Not really that interested in Glocks. Of course, I'm never one to pass up a deal, but the ones I've shot and handled haven't left me wanting one. I think it has something to do with the grip angle that doesn't feel right to me due to an injury to my right thumb years ago that changed the way I grip. I believe the newer Glocks (Gen 3 and 4, which I haven't shot) have a different angle and some different grip styles, but for $500+ I'd rather buy a Sig or Kahr.

Didn't mean to turn this thread into "What should GoodOyster Get For CC"! Just trying to keep ideas about good CC guns going, especially for EDC. Of course, along with what weapon to carry you have to consider HOW to carry it. I think how you're able to comfortably carry based on build and total concealment will probably affect what gun you choose.

like IL2H said it'll probably take a while to find exactly what's right for you. imo it'l be 2-3 of different sizes, depending on what you are wearing. I've tried going full tactical size, middle of the rd and micro and kinda subscribe to the 1 is none theory, when feasable. but now am leaning towards mid size.

That is OK GO, everyone finally figures it out on their budget. There is not a wrong answer as long as it is reliable, you practice and get comfortable with the gun or guns. Opinions are like a**holes, everyone has one...lol
