I have been going back and forth between the Diamondback DB380 and the Taurus Slim in .40. A couple of friends have the diamondback and love it. I already own a Taurus 24/7 in .40 and after +/- a thousand rounds thru the gun have had no problems. I like the idea of sharing ammo I already have at the house. This purchase would be for concealed carry. I have read alot of the reviews out there and see pro's and con's for each. I have personally held both pieces, although not fired them, and believe I could live with either based upon size and weight. What are your thoughts on the two?
Don't have any experience with them. Have you ever shot a SIG Sauer P230, P238, or P239 in .380 or 9MM? My next concealed carry gun will be a P239 in 9MM. Good luck with your decision.
you might want to do a seach on Diamondback before you buy one: Here is a recent thread I saw http://flaguns.com/showthread.php?11876-Diamondback-380-problems-Company-not-truthful!&highlight=diamond+back
My brother in-law just sold a SigArms P229 LEO Edition about 6 months ago. I shot it a few times and liked it. I just looked up that Sig p239. That is a good looking gun. Seems a bit long and heavy but probably shoots like a cadillac compared to some of these other pocket guns.
I had seen diamondback info like this out there, a couple of guys in the shop did warn me against a certain serial # to stay away from. I can't remember which one though.
