Buy some factory ammo, shoot ammo in revolver and report back over.

i agree with il2h i shoot the winchester 240 grain ammo from wally world thru my marlin 1894 44 mag, it is 38.97 plus tx at my local wally world for 50 rnds. It is great ammo. last time at the range i was touching holes in the bulls eye. more bang for my buck than my 30.06.
