Fall/Winter/Spring Carry (House Gun too) - 1992 Sig Sauer P229 Two Tone .40 Cal

I see where Sig is bringing back their M11 for a limited run. Kind of a mix of 228 and 229 features. I think it's just in 9mm, but would be a sweet .40 cal.

I am still searching for my CCW. Haven't found what I want and how to carry it. I can't afford to buy guns just to try them out. And how do you know what holster/method of carry works best without a bit of trial and error?

My daughter recently took her gun safety course over in West Palm. I paid for it and told her if she would take it I'd get her a revolver or pistol. I might pay for her to get her CWP, too. So I'm going to do without something new for me until I get her something.

Carried the M11 from around 1996 or 97 when they first issued them to us until I retired from the US Army in 2008. They are only issued to and carried by Navy - NCIS, Air Force - AFOSI, and Army CID, and USAI Special Agents, and by exception some senior officers/MP's get there hands on them from time to time. The 228/M11 is a great 9MM!

Prior to 1996 we were issued snubby Colt Agent .38 Cal Revolvers as concealed carry guns.
