do you wear a sweatshirt just to conceal that big boy? Just joking with you, but seriously how do you conceal it completely?
i have a xd9 sub compact and have a hard time concealing it completely ..
ruger lc9 is my everyday carry
Crossbreed holster
And it's disturbing that you call him "bigboy"...
I carry a 1911A1 most of the time and this Norinco is the one I carry the most and we have a long history together.
I built this one about 23 years ago when I got this used and abused Norinco pistol at a gun show for about $170.
I had to discard pretty much everything except the frame, slide and the main spring housing.
I started with a Clark match barrel and Wilson bushing. Rest of the parts were pretty much all from Kings Gun Works. After everything was done I had the pistol refinished in hot blue which looked nice but not very durable.
After about 16 years I had fired over 20,000 round through this pistol and it was carried constantly so it started getting a little ragged again. The front sight had popped out once and the rear sight was a litte loose from getting banged around so I decided to work on it again.
About 6 years ago I fitted a new Storm Lake barrel and EGW oversized solid bushing. I changed the hammer to one from Chip McCormick and the grips safety from Colt Commander. I fitted an oversized Kings Hardballer sights to make it look more traditional. Then I refinished the entire pistol inside and out with KG Gunkote which is baked on rust proof finish and has lubricating properties. In past 6 years I fired another 6,000+ rounds. When used with CMC Power mags this pistol has never had a FTF or FTE when used with my reloaded ammo.
I carry concealed it in a Milt Sparks IWB Summer Special holster or Palmer Practical hlster with thumb strap by Sam Andrews with Gary Brommeland mag pouch. It is loaded with 8+1 rounds plus a spare mag with 8 rounds of 230gr CCI Gold Dot.
It's a bit large and heavy but it conceals well and I feel comfortable knowing it's on me all the time... just in case.
