Well I needed a deer rifle and finally bought a Savage 10, w scope (wish I had seen the auto Rem here first) but still a good gun in .308 for Deer/hog and whatever

Then I wanted to trade my AMT 380 for a revolver to carry and got that done yesterday for a LNIB Rossi 462 stainless six shot 357 2 inch snubbie with Pachmayr grips ,1 box monarch 38, 2 and a half boxes of Monarch 357 smj , 1 box Hornady FTX PD
Will use it for home, carry and hunting as a sidearm.

THEN, I saw an ad for a Benelli 12 Ga, (I have a new 11-87 20 ga from last year) the deal was too sweet, never shot looks like and 2004 model for $200.
12 GA DUCKS UNLIMITED EDITION PUMP ACTION BENELLI NOVA SHOTGUN HAS A 26 INCH VENT RIB BARREL WITH RED FIBER OPTIC FRONT SIGHT - MID-BARREL SILVER BEAD SITE. CERRATIONS ON PISTOL GRIP AND FOREND. CROSS TRIGGER SAFETY. BLACK

I think I am ready for hunting season!

and you got the new recoil reducing stock with that beneli! the beneli police won't sell me that stock for my sbe and sure could use it with those 3 1/2" turkey loads. never shot a nova, but if it is of the same quality as the rest of their guns, you should be in bussiness. does the nova handle 3 1/2" rounds? my gunsmith likes savage cuz they have about the best out of the box barrels, one of a few/or only that still makes it's own bbls, and are easy to do trigger jobs/bed/crown to get super accuracy at 500 yds. he uses savage or mauser as platforms for his benchrest guns.

No trigger job needed, has the new accu trigger fully adjustable, best factory trigger they say. All you have to do ig go to an authorized benelli dealer and he will order the new gell recoil pads or the recoil reducer as I understand it. My pump in the Nova with the super nova recoil pad. Thanks guys

I forgot the name of the stock, but it has rubber built into it and gives/absorbs recoil better. the pads and recoil reducing coils are something totaly different.either way you are now very well armed. and adjustable triggers from the factory ( by law ) can only go so low 2 1/2 lbs if you are lucky. competition triggers for benchrest measure in around 1-3 oz's, way too light for hunting.
