The hits keep coming no matter how old I get. Lol
now youre talking! like a varmint or beanfield rifle, best example would be the remmington sendero but they are expensive and heavy, but tackdrivers. for about the same price you could buy a custom match grade shaw barreled action, mcmillan hand layed up glass stock and timney or jewell trigger and have a total custom gun. but I would move up in caliber for something that would have enough retained energy past 500 yds for moose or elk. since your sex change and size/wt, and a gun that heavy you should be able to handle more recoil say 270wsm, or go "all the way" for a 338 lapua mag.best wishes to you and your life partner.LOL.
i have shot a .243 for years a browning bar. it has always suited me just fine. bagged a pile of deer with it , only lost one out of 20 years shooting it. it always damaged alot of meat just like any other calliber does. started out shooting core locks & winchester soft points. but the last 6 years i shot this rifle i chose the rem. accu tip 95 grain ballistic tips
