I hope that lower is still working well. I just ordered one for my 6.8.
Still working good. No problems. The only issue i run into was with the ambi safety. It didn't want to work correctly with the polymer trigger parts. But, the polymer safety select is grooved for the detent at both ends, so it is just a matter of flipping around the oem selector. The metal ambi safetys will work but, require the install of metal trigger parts.
That looks great,, I tried to look up South Tampa Shooter on the web , couldn't find a web site for them....Do they have one? I was wondering , not to get personel how much was your friend selling those lowers for?

He doesn't have a web site. I think he was selling them for $140.00 . New frontier website is where i would order it from, but remember you are gonna have to transfer it to a FFl in order to get it. I haven't seen or talked to the guy at South Tampa Shooter in about 2 months. So i don't know what he has left.
I stopped by my FFL today on the way home and picked mine up. Kemster, you were not kidding, this lower locks up tight, looks good, everything including my 6.8 mags work perfectly in this setup. It does drop some weight, its noticeable. I checked it over and seen no "slag" left over from the molding process. Now to take it out for some testing. few pics for ya.....
