How can i tell if it has mil spec or not thanks
a few things to look for is a forward assist on the upper, it is a push button that is on an angle off the left side of the receiver.. A dust cover that flips up over the ejection port. the other thing to look at is the barrel. It should have a step down machined into it between the front sight and the muzzle.. A DPMS for $589 is not a mil-spec.... Most mil-specs are starting in the $800 range...
