I have been looking for a good all around Florida hunting gun,and I have always wanted a lever action gun.I found this one in a pawn shop and it called out to be freed.Marlin 336 in 35Rem with a Simmons wide angle 44Mag 3-10x44 scope on Holden iron sighter rings.350.00$ OTD. congrats, since I no longer have my win 94 xtr in 375 cal I was just thinking of a lever in that caliber as I have some 357 cal 180 gr hornady xtp bullets and 35 rem dies. a 180-200 gr bullet should really lay the smackdown. good luck with it. I'm surprized you don't see more of them down here.
.35 Rem is a great round. My uncle has a 336 in that caliber and he's done well with it over the years. Good choice.
