Mauser 30.06 with scope

I wish they made more synthetic stocks in that sporter model from the factory. Maybe they do and I just do not see them being used. I like the look of that one.

The stocks a little shiny though. any ideas beside sanding the stock down?

Get a bottle of the true oil stock sheen conditioner. It is really simple and cheap and will knock the high gloss down to a satin finish just rub it on with a soft cloth and wipe off with clean rag.

yeah a gun sock will control glare and help reduce scratches but your body and arms will cover up a lot of the guns outline, but I think motion and scent get you busted more than a shiny finish

I like this gun alot. I have a 8mm Mauser that could use a new stock. This rifle looks great.
