I need to sight it in. Yeah the barrels been changed the action was made in 1944. I looked up the codes. It is a pretty gun. I hope to kill alot of pigs and deer w/ it.

Pretty rifle. Although I am partial to synthetic for hunting, I like the looks of those older gun stocks

Nice looking gun. I really like the sporter stock. I hope to do something like that with my Remington 30-06 Model 17.

The stocks a little shiny though. any ideas beside sanding the stock down?

Pick up a camo gun sock. They cost around $9 and you can get them about anywhere shooting supplies are sold.
