I just emailed guy about one and looks like it's in good condition. I haven't laid my hands on it yet but from the pics I've seen, the wood and blueing looks nice. It has the crossbolt safety, so I assume it was made sometime in the 80's. No MR serial number so I think it's a real Marlin. Is $350 a good price? 30/30 BTW.

I think that's $50-$70 more than what it's selling for around here.
I picked up the same rifle about 3 months ago from a guy here for $300.
It was 21 years old (1992) and in about 95% condition and included a hard plastic case and box and half (30 rounds) of factory Remington 150gr ammo.

too much if it's a remlin. and likely it's a 336sc.

Best deal I got on a Marlin rifle was a 30AW model for $200 from a guy in Orlando last year.
Found it on FGT while on a vacation to Disney World with family.
Did the FTF with the seller across the street from Sea World 🙂

Got the serial number and looked it up. Made in 1990. JM stamp on the bbl. Going to take a look at it tomorrow.
