we were team white trash, some guys shooting glasses or hearing protection cost more than my mdl 500 mossberg. but it was a good learning experience. a double bbl is hard to beat cuz with a selective trigger you can have different chokes and loads in each bbl. once you find a gun that shoots where you look don't let it go. it could be any action, cheap or expensive. mine was a 1946 browning auto 5 in 16 ga and looked like it was owned and used hard by the swamp people.

Remember you point a shotgun not aim one... That is alot of folks problem when shooting a shotgun at flying targets... The gun may not fit you in the comb height or length of pull, both can be easily corrected with some cheap add-on items.... bring it out to the dove shoot and we'll get you squared away....

imo, the key to a shotgun that will shoot good for you is in how it fits to your body, length of pull, the height of the comb (where your cheek rests). keep looking hopefully one day you will find one. it only took me 35+ years and I sold it. one size definately does not fit all.

I'd definetly like to come out to the dove hunt but don't know if I'll be able to
