duetz no more? i sure wish i had choke tubes in my 96, i might be able to pick up a few more birds, i think my bottom barrel is imp and the top is mod. still the best rounds have come from that on a sporting clay course. i have many 24 bird rounds in trap with my wingmaster shooting singles. still haven't had a perfect round.

Deutz is the name my Godfather "jellybean" hung on me as an infant and what my Mother called me and my Bro and a few close friends still do. guess he didn't wanna be the only one in the family with a silly nickname. Allen had some screw in chokes put in a gun so ask him how it came out. it would give you a lot more versatility. I always wanted to try turkey with a double bbl. some of those trap teams at the denver gun club had ringers but to win, every team member had to avg app 23 birds each round. I don't recall ever breaking more than 20.

I'm no gunsmith but if there is enough steel there they should be able to tap in some threads, but getting it done perfectly true and in line with a double bbl would take someone REAL good. I'd be REAL carefull who I let attempt that one.

yes you can have screw-in's put in anytime. there are several good gunsmiths that due those. pick up a copy of trap and field magazine out at Sarasota gun club. or look that up online and there are some good smiths in the classified.
