stopped in my local pawn shop today to see if they had any thing i couldnt live without. nothing really jumped at me, one that did was a winchester 1894. It was an NRA model, made in 1971, to celebrate 100 yrs of winchester i think..... i did not like the scope on it, i did like the 24" barrel, and the short mag tube. they are asking 400 which i think is high. I am considering purchasing an eaa snubnose revolver in 38/357 for 225 or so. They also had a very nice marlin 336 in 30-30, that had some nice checkering on the stock and forearm.
I got a .44 mag snubnose. Looking to trade off .
What did they want for the 336?
Wow that winchester would be sweet
it's kinda funny how sometimes a plain Jane mdl is worth more than a commemorative. did it have a brass reciever, octagon bbl, any engraving?
