Anyone have an opinion or experience with a Howa 1500? This one has the hogue overmolded stock with a bipod installed. Comes with a Nikko Stirling scope mounted and sighted. Has a very low round count and was original bought back in March of last year.
Tell me your thoughts re:
-Accuracy
-Reliability
-Durability
-What price would you pay for this set-up?
Thanks
Jason
Kemster shoots one just like it in .308. I believe he shoots hand loads for it
I also have a Howa 1500 in .308
Mine is the heavy barrel so it's a best but it's a sub MOA gun
I have shot kempsters 1500. its in 308 with overmold houge stock and bull barrel. I can tell ya my next rifle will be that one. very smooth shooter and a will shoot a pimple of a knats a$$. I shot it with factory ammo and the hand loads both very accurate. only took 3 shots to dial it in.
Have the 1500 in 308 also, heavy barrel, nikko scope, removable mag option, bipod, hogue stock
paid 699 @ buds gun shop.
great gun for the money.
you would not be disappointed in the quality of it.
if the price is right, go for it. also check out buds as they do have prices you can compare to
