I guess it depends upon your definition of quality? If it is made of anything other than pure steel and wood/plastic grips only it isn't quality IMHO. Most guns made today are all Mims parts guns with life expectancy of less than 10 years and 5k rounds.

I misspoke, it should read "made of mims or plastic, AKA polymer parts".

Thanks everyone. Yeah seems most handguns now are made of polymer plastic parts. Anyone know of a good sale going on or deal let me know. I'll post links to what I find to get opinions before I buy.

I was going to explain my definition of quality, but didn't want to write a book. There are many quality made new guns on the market today, but nearly every manufacturer today makes some form of cheap junk which is made not to last and retains little to no collector or resale value. This includes S&W, Colt, Sig, Para, and other "name brand" manufacturers. To find a quality used handgun today you really have to know what makes one quality or not. Any Colt, S&W, Sig and a few others which were made 20 or more years ago can normally be considered quality as long as they have a low round count and haven't been shot out.
