Looking for your opinions and preferences to a Snub Nose Revolver or Sub Compact Semi Auto for concealed carry in Florida. Just bought a SW 637 SS Airweight in 38 Spcl and absolutely love it for concealed carry. What do you prefer, carry or would like to have as a daily carry gun in this class of concealed gun?
I carry a Glock 27 (sub-compact .40) and love it. Easy to conceal and comfortable with enough firepower.
Wanting me a hammerless 357 bad for a ccw. Ready to ditch the semi auto
What type semi auto do you carry? I've had a Glock, Kahr, Colt Mustang and Keltec sub compacts and wish I had never sold that little SW 940 SS J Frame 9mm hammer less about 15 years ago, best CCW gun I ever owed! Gonna get me another one someday! But I just had to have a baby auto back then!!!!!
Thickness and weight were important to me, I wear dress clothes at work tucked in and I don't have much of a gut so I needed something that sticks close to my hip without printing. I can't stand anything in my pockets either so the pocket guns were ruled out. Just picked up the Taurus Slim 740 semiauto. Its a .40 cal, less than 1" thick, 3" barrel 6" overall length and holds 6 +1, only weighs 19 ounces. I can wear it all day, doesn't bother me at all. Use a modified band to wear it, even works with shorts and a t shirt when I get home, no need for a belt or holster.
