Kinda hard to make a decision for my first AR...
I'm debating myself between these options
1) Spike's tactical 16" M4 LE Upper (5.56) 1:7, M4 Feed ramp, Auto-bolt carrier group, Chromoly Vanadium Alloy barrel
2) Spike's tactical 16" Mid-length LE Upper (5.56) 1:7, M4 Feed ramp, Auto bolt carrier group, Chromoly Vanadium Alloy barrel
3) Del-ton 16" Mid-length upper with 1:7, M4 feed ramp, standard bolt-carrier group, chrome lined heavy barrel
4) Del-ton, Pre-ban 16" M4 feed ramp, 1x7, standard bolt carrier groul, Chrome Lined Barrel Assembly
By the way, anyone can tell me what chromoly vanadium alloy barrel is compare to chrome lined barrel?
I'm planning to use this AR for all purposes (Bench shooting, target shooting, hunting, tactical drills (ammo dumping), and else.
Which one would you choose?
Carbine gas setup is harder on the Bolt Carrier Group (BCG) then Midlength.
Chromoly barrel is said to be more accurate then chrome lined, the chrome lined is done mainly for corrosion resistance. i.e. if a gun is used and not cleaned each time the chromoly bore can corrode from the unburnt powder and dirt from environment.
if your going to be able to clean and lube the gun go chromoly, if you plan on being in jungle for a month without ability to keep the gun clean after shooting it get the chrome lined.
delton is going to be the bottom of the barrel stuff, go spikes or better.
I may have a DPMS upper i'd sell for fairly cheap.
see my other posts for the complete firearm, I plan on keeping the lower for a custom build soon.

I think I'm leaning towards chrome lined than chromoly haha
And about your offer of your DPMS upper, is that the one you posted on Hunting gear selling thread?
yup, that upper
i'd let it go for 350 cash or could ship for extra cost of UPS shipping
