The weights were left in his truck after the box broke. We are his last stop. All I could figure he was doin was melting down the weights to make the bullets. But that doesn't seem to me that it would be cheaper
they have a hole in the middle of them....it would make no sense to load them in a case that way.
Them happening to be "bullet" weights is just ironic though
I believe they are "bullet" shaped fishing wts, the hole is so the fishing line moves thru the wt and won't get snagged, jmo. why he needs so many? (he could be making his own fishing jigs?) if he were melting them down, why not just use plain lead? and I agree the fed ex guy stole part of someone elses order and gave it to you after manhandling it enough to break the package open, lucky it wasn't something fragile. whats in those packages is none of his business and he certainly should not be telling other customers what someone else is getting, let alone give it to them. sounds like a real DITM and glad he's not my fed ex guy.
I know they are bullet shaped fishing weights they are called bullet weights. I just didnt think it was worth goin through all the trouble to fill the weight just to put it into a casing?
your post said nothing about "fishing wts". still doesn't make sense to use them to make gun bullets out of them without melting them down and re-forming them. even if they were a good diameter to match a caliber the quality control and consistency of wt/shape and diameter would probly not be too good or very usable. what he's trying to fill the hole with is anybody's guess (you didn't say)? possibly trying to fill with something to make some exploding type bullet, who knows, only him and he probly shouldn't be talking about it.
