I hear and see a lot about Browning Sweet 16's. I was wondering if anyone had any solid info about older 16's. Say, made in 1936. Belgian of course with original FN buttlplate to boot. Are there very many of these floating around on the market? I have one and have been trying to get rid of it for a couple of years. I don't think I'm asking too much and I'm sure the current economy isn't helping any either.

technicaly a 1936 is not a sweet 16. that term for them came later after WW2. I'm not a historian, so am not sure if yours was made before or during the war. unfortunately 16 gauges are becoming almost obsolete and can barely be given away and ammo is getting tougher to find. ask gunboy about the value of 16 gauges and what they will bring. look for my pm to follow soon.
