total bs. there is plenty of ammo at the gun stores and shows. screw walmart.
I stopped at Wally World down here by me yesterday. The ammo case has been empty for a while now. The manager told me that just yesterday they were told that ammo sales are on hold for now. Didn't know when they would be receiving another shipment.
Go back to wal mart and tell him he is FOS. Ammo sales are not on hold for wal mart. The ones up here are actually getting stocked up again
any one that listens to a walmart employee at the store level about what walmart as a company is doing is well.. i won't use any bad names,
as fast as ammo is being made it's being purchased, once hoarders are satisfied the supply will begin to come back around and prices will go down..
and for pete's sake people stop listening to what your local walmart guy has to say.. there is a reason he's working at a walmart and it isn't because he was top of his class that's for sure.
Just stopped at the Brandon Mall Walmart. Shelves were empty, with the exception of 20 ga rifled slugs (which is what I was looking for) but the guy told me they are getting ammo tomorrow. They did tell me only 3 boxes per customer.
I can agree with most ww employees being simpletons but ive been stopping to check for ammo just about every day and sometimes twice for over a month. There was still the same 3 boxes of 17 hmr that has been there for weeks yesterday along with some shot shells. I stopped in Perry a few weeks back and was able to pick up a couple boxes of 7 mag and 270. I normally wouldn't believe anything an employee tells me at ww but this was the gm and someone that calls for work on a regular basis. The walmart down by me carries absolutely nothing when it comes down to hunting and ammo doesnt normally sell out that fast. When hunting season comes in you still cant find the 1st piece of camo anything down here. Now fishing stuff is another thing.
