appears ammo and guns are getting short in supply in the seffner area. went to my local pawn shop to see if there was anything i couldnt live without, and they have gone thru 50% of their stock, no ars, and their handgun cases looked low as well. so decided to go to walmart to check for ammo, the case was cleared out....just to see what they had i went to shoot straight on 301. The military display they have in that store was nearly completely out of stock on guns just a few $1700+ guns left. even their used guns were in low supply, with only a m1 garand out in the way of semiauto rifles. they had some supplies of ammo including some Hornady 6.8spc for 29.99 a box, and 500 rnd cases of .40 s+w for $350 or so. hopefully they will all be bringing in some new ammo at some point thats really what i went out for.
it's a great opportunity for storeowners to unload all the crap they haven't been able to sell in years, for big money
I stopped at Wally World down here by me yesterday. The ammo case has been empty for a while now. The manager told me that just yesterday they were told that ammo sales are on hold for now. Didn't know when they would be receiving another shipment.
I went to a gun show last week and there was a guy there selling a box of 500 .22 Long Rifle Federal for 60 dollars. In December this same box sold at Wal-Mary for 16.99. Talk about Price Gauging.
I think walmart should be ashamed of the BS about ammo, looks like they are with government in restricting ammo. They build these massive stores and run all the mom and pop stores out of business and now they are going stop selling ammo. This company is not ever going to get my business ever again. They think they are the ammo police, well I don't need them either. So long wally world. They told me that the reason they don't sell guns from the store close to me is, that the county won't allow because there is a school within 1500' feet. Are you kidding me this store has been here for twenty years. Total communism.
