Just had 2 Polish under folder AKs come in this week. Both gone, they lasted a day and a half... Would be an awesome trade for that Ruger...
depending on what ak it is, on the market now you'd pull 650 or more..
every nut-so out there thinks they need an ak for the zombie craze now or something like that???
my 2 cents: don't sell or trade it... i don't think the ruger would be worth the same?
Also a gunsmith can do the job for you. I have a great one here in Miami that builds my kits.
nodakspud.com makes AK rec's and will add ser #'s to match the rest of the gun. they will likely have the type you need. on the other hand you rarely see those Rugers for sale, unless someone dies.
Sorry it has taken so long to get back to you guys. It is a WASR 10/63. I would love that Ruger, but unfortunately I am kinda attached to my AK. Plus I like having a rifle that has semi decent ammo prices, it is also my tacticle if SHTF. I got a Yugo SKS I might be thinking about getting rid of. Batemaster, I figured a gunsmith could do it, but the one I went to said he couldn't, either uninventive, or lazy.
