Well after reading how the forum has been kind of dead I guess I wil chime in and get some opinions. I have an undefolder AK47 and bought a collapsible stock to change it out. The underfolder stock makes it kind of a pain to use the red dot. That is the reason I wanted to change out the stock. Well I was haing problems taking out the UF so I took it to shoot straight in Apopka, to see if he could get it off. He did I asked while I was there if he could put the other stock on. He loked at it and told me that he could not because the lower reciever doesn't have the proper setup for a fixed stock. Asked him if he could mod it to get it to work and he said no. Now I am left with the decision if I need to buy a new lower reciever, get a new AK, or just say screw it and live with what I got.
there needs to be two "tabs" on the reciever to accept a regular stock. If you want to pick up another AK now is the time to do it. They are gonna get hard to find.
I've got a 44 Mag Ruger Carbine I'd trade you for the AK underfolder....

That's my boy....always working. You should think about that one Chris, that Ruger is nice.
The underfolder is a totally different animal than a wire side folding stock. I have my rifles with the side folders that mount to the existing holes from the wood stock. What underfolder do you have? If its not a WASR I'd be interested in it.
