22lr or 22wmr crickett?

Thanks for the input, but it needs to be a youth size. I'm going to stay with the lr for now. If she takes more interest in shooting and hunting, I'll get her something else...

Everywhere I have been lately has wmr but no lr. Thats why I say that. You may know of a place that has it, but for how long? I suppose if you could get a brick or two then you would be set for a while... right now it is a bit hard to find for many of us.

Yep, same here. wmr ammo all day. LR your out of luck. GM did have a few packs of the LR shot shells

That is because of the popularity of .22LR and the current FRENZY. I'd bet that only one out of ten people who own "Rimfire" firearms own a .22 Mag and the other nine own .22LR firearms.

Why is .223 so difficult to buy today??? Maybe popularity of the caliber???
