just got a marlin xt22m for christmas..
ive been getting out of my deer stand early to go shoot squirrels, real smooth bolt action not too loud.
I shot a coyote from about 50-60 yards in the shoulder and it fell right there
imo stick with the iron sights
the only downside is 1 box of 50 22mags is the same price as 500 22lr.

Been getting cci .22 mag 50rd box for $10.89 at wally world
