deer feet?

Okay...sorry about the delay....here is some info for you....go to

here you will find drawings, examples, forms, ferrules, and at the bottom you can click on another link that will show you step by step color pics of how to skin and remount the feet on a form with hooves...
you dont need to have these tanned, just use a good dry preservative...they will be fine....

Thanks for the link and info, looks like that will get me off to a good start.
The hooves are quite pretty I can't wait. I have an old 1889 swiss rifle that I want to hang with them. The gun can't be shot until I learn to reload or some company starts making ammo for it.

If you need the wood panel for it...let me know....I can get them in solid oak or solid walnut......not laminated....very nice.....

Dave,
Thanks for the wood panel info. Jay and I have made a lot of the furniture in the house and still have wood for more projects. I will post the project when it's done.
