how do you usually cook those tree pigs? squirrel gravy was invented up north dontcha know, lol. they are about the only game I can't get my wife to eat. she went crazy for the doves. I filleted the breast in 2 and deep fried them, some breaded/some plain. like dove Mcnuggets.

I separate the older ones from the young ones. The older ones are boiled down and usually a pot of squirrel and rice with some gravy. The young ones are nice and tender and can be fried grilled bout how ever you like them. Season em up the way you like and chow down.
