Better is in the eye of the beer holder. We have a season that runs from July thru April. And the best fishing in the world on every coast. Sure they are tough to kill. makes you a better hunter. if you are unsuccessful, don't blame it on the hunting. Look in the mirror. There are plenty of guys who make it happen year in and year out. if one guy can do it, so can the next.

A hunter is only as good as he wants to be. Ive went to wmas and pulled hogs cause i tried, and knew what to look for. I don't think me and scott ever went out and didnt get a hog. Its all about knowledge and experience. When i first started i was so discouraged and was soo pissed that i would walk for miles and hours and grt nothing or see anything, and other people spend 20 mins and are shooting.
Up north is bigger deer and plenty more herds and plenty more area. I was born and raised in NJ and you can see 150 and up class deer on the hi way. On every hi way there is a deer a mile splattered on the pavement. They even have DEER PROBLEMS! Cause theres too many.
But dont get mad because they way you hunt up north isnt working in the south, i came here with that attitude and after learning its different my hunting has changed.
