I eat them yr round, the only wolve I ever seen was in Jan., it was 25 deg's. They dont eat much anyway....

Mick, them's oysters only months with an R. I ain't never heard of only eatin bunnies in months with an R (unless ur talking R is for Rabbit) :grin

up north I was told they carry a bacteria in summer months that if you stick/cut youself on some bone while cleaning could make you real sick. I see alot of huge swamp rabbits just about every time I go out and it's been real tempting but have been told they are very tough and need a pressure cooker to be able to eat them.

On private land you can't hunt and eat rabbits year around.
