That is how I skin them, but takes me more than 1 minute.

I do mine essentially the same way. But these little thin skinned Florida squirrels often-times complicate matters so that it takes more than 1 minute...LOL!!!!!

I've skinned squirrels both from the tail and in half from the back. Both ways works well for me and they both take about the same time cleaning...
