whatever brings home the pork to mama.lol ive killed a hog with my 22 and it dropped pretty quick. i mean if your confident in your shot placement go for it. a bigger caliber would deffinitly be preffered, but its just like anything you must place a good shot to kill something.

Took my first hog with a .22 magnum. Two inches behind the ear and took out about an inch and a half of neck bones. Don't underestimate the little .22!
