Thats funny the topic of armadillo just came up. I just finished a knife that had armadillo skin as scales
I thought dillers were mostly shell, not sure I'd want to know where the skin came from.

I remember reading the article the restaurant was closing the owner grew to old She was in her 80s i believe before she called it quits.
People are so ignorant if its ugly they don't want it. If it not main stream it got to be bad. I mean really is a cow laying in a pile of it own excrement pretty--- not in my book but sure can be tasty. A crab looks like a spider but its main steam so people eat them. No i have nevr eaten one.

Haha! Well, I eat ugly things...like oysters and I like to watch Andrew Zimmerman on TV eat weird stuff but I guess it's all in what you perceive as good eats. I always told my kids to try it before you say you don't like it and I recon that goes here as well. So if anyone wants to have a Armadillo BBQ or even a Armadillo Fry, and invite everybody I'll bring the cheese grits.
I guess the worse that can happen is we all get leprosy but then we can start a colony. :eek
