Do you have any tackle shops near you that spool reels? The one I work at will spool your line for free if you buy it there or we will charge you a penny per yard if you bring your own line in.

There probably are some, but I prefer to do it myself. I put it on a certain way. I fill the reel about 2/3 with mono, then fill it with my braid. Plus I wouldn't trust anyone else tying knots on my equipment. Also if the braid is in fairly good shape, I will reel it onto another reel. That way the section that has been just sitting on a spool and not ever seeing the water is now in use

Nice job. Great looking reel/rod racks! They won't get broken now...
