I've never reloaded for this caliber, heard it could be tricky since the round headspaces on the mouth of the case. with the price of 45 ammo it may be the only way I can afford to shoot it. I'm also looking into the 22 conversion for the gun, a sig 220. anybody have one with the 22 conversion? hows the accuracy? the gun generaly digests anything well but havent tried snake shot or handloads yet.
9MM is cheaper to shoot, shoot it instead and sell me the 220 .45... Then you can buy a .22LR Semi Ruger or Sig and have money left over.... Sounds like a great idea.... Besides, then you won't have to reload .45 either... That's a super idea....
I get the hints, you want the 45. tell ya what I'll leave it to you in my will, providing you don't bump me off for it. and in exchange sell my remaining guns for a fair price, give it to my wife and look in after her from time to time. I'm sure you would do it anyway without having to be asked. just hope you don't need it anytime soon.
OK, it's a deal!!! Need to pick me one of those up one of these days just in case the Zombies come. Remember the Rapture is coming tooo...
I tell ya in all stainless it's heavy as hell, but very comforting walking in and out of the woods in the dark if I'm using the 22 mag rifle. talked to sig yesterday and got them to send me a pistol grip screw for my 226 for free, no shipping either. turns out the gun was made in germany pre 1987 and those type screws are diff from the newer ones and hard to find. good customer support. and thanks for the sig hat, my chrome dome was getting sunburn.
