No particular recipe, just use whatever powder/primers I can get. Very partial to the 55 VMAX though. Most are stuffed with 26.5 Varget. Some have 25.0 Benchmark, and others Reloader 10x. Went through many cans of Grizzly loading these. (Single stage press) Gotta finish my last ammo can. Think the count is around 4000. I always seem to luck out and pickup 200-300 brass everytime I go to the range too. Like the guys who don't reload!!! Funny thing is I don't even shoot more than 1 magazine out of my AR when it makes a rare appearance at the range. Love my bolt guns...

I'M into single shot rifles now. a Rockchucker single stage press that was bolted to the tailgate of a pickup and left outdoors for 5-7 years, 1976- 1983, Colo. is still chucking better than new now (well broken in). I spend app 80 % of the time prepping the brass, and 20% of the time actually reloading (stuffing: primers/powder/bullets). speaking 223 now, the only components I've tried so far are 55 gr Hornady and zero bullets (cheapo's), and W-748 powder. the gun shoots so much better than I am it's crazy. I DO want to try some of the GOOD stuff though. you must have put a BIT of time into loading all those with a single stage press.
