Wow! an hour and the buzzards were already on him. That's pretty fast. Nice buck though. You're on a roll this year. Was any of those 18 another buck?

One was a small 4 pt. he was chasing a doe also. The group of 12 that walked up was a new deal for me. One was a mature doe. The other 11 were all yearlings I guess they group up now, and again. It was strange the buzzard got on him so quick considering it was 25 degrees that morning. Probably 35 to 40 when I found him. I shot 1 a few years back in the same WMA when I found him some thing had eaten a little off of both hams. Not much I salvaged both hams. I had to chuck this front shoulder I didn't even try to salvage any. Buzzards are just nasty.
