I bought a trophy rock and put it next to one of my feeders on my old lease and the deer loved it they wore it down pretty quick to about the size of a softball and everytime I would go to that spot I would have to find it because they would push it around.
the trophy rocks work well also. i had tried some c'mere deer last year. shake and take. put it out and had deer moving towards me, got to the tree line and blew and blew. not used to the smell.
Vanilla here also been using it for around 30 years but grape kool aide or lemonade has done well too.
I have used deer cane and had it work fairly well. Pour it over a stump or old log.
I have also screwed a couple jars of peanut butter to trees around my feeder and had good success from that as well.
I use Tink's mock scrape starter every season. I usually go about 30- 40 yards around my feeder and take a ho or rake and scratch a area about 1 foot wide by 3 feet long and spray the mock scrape starter in the scrape and it works very well.
This year im goin to try out "buck bomb" and Primo's can. I will let you know how those turn out.
I also plan on using some vanilla as scent cover. From what I have heard this stuff is very effective.

i used a drag rag with pure vaneela exrtact on it the kind in the red and white little box and the brown bottle from publix, was told about it so i figured cant hurt did it during bow season two years ago, had a doe trail me not 15 mins after me right to me with in 10 feet of me i was on the ground of course she finally busted me she just stood there looking at me maybe 25 seconds they i made eye contact with her and it was game over from there. left the rag there it was gone 2 days later with hoof marks on the ground kinda like a mini scrape but there was coon prints too so i asume they took it. tried it a few other times with nothin but didnt see anything those times so i dont think it was the vanella, they also make a vanella srpray same company that makes buck bomb. a buddy of mine in gorgia hung a few vanella air freshners the the little tree ones for cars in tree's in the off season with cams on they and allways had deer smellin it and two pics one of a buck and one doe trying to eat/taste them he hunted over one and killd two deer in two days bow season one 4 point one doe both over fresh ones.
