Well I finally got a 100% go to hunt the farm on the Iowa border in Nov. I was finally all pumped up about going then started looking for a motel. They're all booked up within 100 miles of where I'm going . I found one in Iowa that has a room ,but not until Sun nite. I would camp but I would have to spend too much on equipment.I'm hoping the farmer will let us sleep in the back of the truck for a few nites, but it will be one cold mutha.
Man that sucks. Why are the all booked up. Is there that many hunters coming in at that time?

What's the nearest town, what days do you need a room, for how many people, and how far away are you willing to go? I know a lady who has ways to find rooms when nobody else seems to be able to. Might be a bed-and-breakfast or weekly room rental, but it'll beat sleeping in a truck!
