what is the most off the wall thing you have tried, to attract deer. i have used peanut butter with great success.( in georgia). smear it on the trees right before i leave to come home-- 2 weeks later they have all the bark ate off the tree and still cruise by checking it. gonna try some soy sauce this trip up, not to hunt over it. but put a camera on it and see how it works.

i believe it will work much like a salt lick. soy sauce is salty, depending on the brand very salty.

Yea when you said soy sauce thats how i thought it would work. You wont even be able to see it on the tree like you can peanut butter. You will just see a dark wet spot
