Type in hunting in the search window on Craig's List. All kinds of good stuff including leases. Iluv2hunt is right about the prices down south. They are out of control. I'm keeping track of how much it costs me this year on the 1200 per year lease. Fuel is a little over 225 per trip. Campsite is only 35 per month just outside of our property. By the time I'm done I could almost justify the big money lease except for the side of me that has to write the check. The 7 hour drive time gets old every week or so but it's nice having 1300 acres to only 8 of us. The advantage y'all have in central fl. is that you have so many different WMA's to choose from relatively close to home. The other advantage to having the lease is that when I show up all I have to do is turn on the heat or A/C and I'm ready to relax. 2nd home with no phone. Gotta love it. :rockon
i love going up to my lease. wish i could go more often. 6 hour ride from Tampa. but when i do get up there, it is nice knowing that maybe my hard work over the summer will pay off. when them deer do exactly like you thought and you are able to harvest one, it feels like you just outsmarted the smartest animal in the woods in their backyard. and they taste a whole lot better.

ALL TAMPA BAY AREA BOYS.NO GEORGIA LOCALS ALLOWED!ANOTHER THOUSAND FOR CABIN I RENT SEPERATE FROM LEASE ,FROM LOCAL.I GO UP AT LEAST EVERY OTHER WEEKEND IF NOT EVERY WEEKEND AS THE RUT GETS CLOSER,SO I FIGURE I WOULD SPEND THIS OR MORE ON MOTELS.CABIN HAS A/C AND HEAT,HOT WATER,STOCKED CATFISH POND.YEAR ROUND LEASE ON PROPERTY AND CABIN..NICE LIL VACATION GET-AWAY DURING OFF SEASON.TAKE A FEW CLIENTS UP HUNTING AND CLAIM AS MUCH UNDER BIZ..EXPENSE AS ALLOWED.800 ACRES BORDERS MY LEASE THAT IS NOT AND WILL NOT EVER BE HUNTED.OWNED BY ANIMAL ACTIVIST..BUT THEY LET 1 LOCAL SHOOT HOGS..GO FIGURE!18 PT SHOT OFF OUR LEASE LAST YEAR.THIS IS A DIRECT RESULT OF MANAGING DEER..
